Let me help streamline the court appearance process for you. Rather than waiting to update the court, let me be the one to doing the waiting.

Setting up an Appearance

The first step to getting coverage is to e-mail me at gorman@specialappearance.net. Let me know the date, time, department, case name, who you represent, case number, status of the case, and the desired result of the hearing. I'll send an e-mail letting you know if I have any questions and confirm whether or not I can cover the appearance. Please don't include any information that is private, privileged, or confidential in your e-mail.

Value Delivery

You get someone who is a member of the Bar in California, New York, and New Jersey. You get direct contact with the person appearing on your case. I was licensed, as a CPA, in Virginia, for over 20 years. Lower fees than CourtCall. My fee is $60 per routine appearance.

Appearances are for licensed California Attorneys, in good standing, who are counsel of record. Coverage is not provided for self represented litigants.

Coverage is provided for routine hearings: CMCs, TSCs, various Status Review Hearings, etc., at the San Jose Historic/Old Courthouse at 161 N. First Street and the Downtown Courthouse at 191 N. First Street: Departments 1-22.

If you need coverage elsewhere, or on a different type of hearing, Let me know how I may be able to help. The fee for matters, which are not routine general civil hearings, is $200 per hour.
